If your tooth sensitivity is mild, you can try dental toothpaste specifically made for sensitive teeth found over-the-counter in most pharmacies. Those toothpastes don't have irritating ingredients that effect sensitive teeth. If home treatments don’t work, you can talk to your dentist about prescription toothpastes and mouthwash.

There are many factors that destroy the natural smile you were born with. Certain foods, drinks, and tobacco stain your teeth. Those substances continuously work on our teeth causing our teeth to stain and fade in color. Its important to brush your teeth after consuming anything with a strong color.

  • Brush with fluoride toothpaste after eating or drinking.
  • Clean between your teeth daily with dental floss.
  • Rinse daily with a fluoride containing mouthwash
  • Visit your dentist regularly.
  • Avoid frequent snacking and sipping.
  • Eat tooth-healthy foods.
  • Consider fluoride treatments.

You should brush your teeth twice a day at least. Brushing keeps your mouth, gums, and teeth healthy and clean. You should spend at least a minute brushing the top set of teeth and a minute on the bottom set to remove bacteria causing plaque. Also you shouldn't forget to brush your tongue as well.
